About the event
Baltimore Bird Club will participate in The Big Sit, an international event to see or hear as many birds as possible from within a 17-foot diameter circle. The location will be in the large grassy area at the boat ramp for Prettyboy Reservoir ( 39.652255,-76.741365) Join us; it will be a fun social birding activity! Please RSVP to Alyssia Church with the approximate time you are planning on arriving. This will ensure we have space for everyone to sit within the circle. Drop-ins are also welcome, and this is a great event for birders of every level. Bring a camp chair, water, snacks, sunscreen – anything you need to be comfortable. Event will start around 7:30am and continue until sunset.
