See also Sept 14. The swifts have been returning regularly to the Bookbindery Chimney in Hampden, 3110 Elm Ave. 21211, so that is the planned spot this fall to observe our migratory swifts.

See also Sept 14. The swifts have been returning regularly to the Bookbindery Chimney in Hampden, 3110 Elm Ave. 21211, so that is the planned spot this fall to observe our migratory swifts. We will observe the chimney the week before, and should it not be productive, we will post a change of venue on the BBC website, https://baltimorebirdclub.org, and the BBC Facebook page, so be sure to double-check. Note there are two dates for Swift Watch this fall! Drop in at least a half hour before sunset, especially if cloudy or drizzling. Please note to be respectful of the neighbors and their property while viewing the swifts. Event is cancelled in case of heavy rain. Binoculars are useful but not essential.
